Parish Council Meetings during lock-down

During this period of lock-down, the Parish Council are unable to hold their regular monthly meetings in the usual way. As you know, any resident of Nunthorpe is entitled to be present at these meetings either to contribute or just to listen to the debate. From the next meeting on 6th May 2020 until Government advice changes, these meetings will be held as Zoom virtual meetings meaning that participants can take part from their homes. I’m sure many of you will have become familiar with Zoom or similar applications like Skype to keep in touch with family and friends during the past month.

As we are legally required to make our meetings open, can I ask that if anyone is interested in joining the Parish Council meeting (commencing at 19:00) through this medium, please send your name, address and e-mail address to the Parish Clerk on clerk@nunthorpepc.org.uk who will in turn send you the meeting link allowing you to participate. You will need a computer, smartphone or tablet with microphone and camera to be able to do this.
